Clear Great Practical Life Lesson to Learn In 1 Simple Step
Doing a quick life hack to examine why your life sucks sometimes is easier than you might think and for sure easier than feeding three cats at the same time because they are so spoilt, they need to eat right out of your hand.
Can you describe your life with one word?
“Describe yourself in one word” seems to be the ultimate job interview question to discover if you aren’t secretly growing a forbidden rhino farm inside your house.
So why not adjust it to our own life and boil down everything we can to go on from here as truly happy people, through one single word.
Once you found your life description in one word; it gives you the opportunity to dive a bit deeper into your life and ask yourself what that word exactly means for you.
Maybe it illustrates something good and doesn’t it need further examination. But maybe you choose or found an awful word which makes you want to hide behind the ugly painting on the wall.
Just find the best description that suits your life as right at this moment. Even when it is the word ‘pizza’ it can say a lot about you. Maybe you need to balance your pizza addiction or maybe you crave insanely for 10 pizzas all with Gorgonzola cheese or four different season cheeses and your life word tells you really need to eat them. As in: right now.
I think I just discovered another life word of myself. Not a good one, because if only eating 1 millimeter of cheese would make me as dead as a pier.
Two methods to discover your own life in just one word:
Two methods to discover your own life in just one word:
Timer
- Set your timer 5 minutes + try to come up with your life-word
- Set your timer 3 minutes + try to come up with your life-word
- Set your timer 1 minute + try to come up with your life-word
Then you have a list with three words: look at your list and in 1 second decide what you think is most appropriate to describe your life in the most honest sense of the word.
Tarot
- All you need is one card and come up with the first word that comes to mind when you see the card.
Disappointment
My word would be: ‘disappointment’ but mostly ‘disillusion’.
Because of a 27-year-old lasting sickness, I have been forced to think it through well and thanks to Tarot I saw all the bottlenecks.
Although it is in my nature to go on every day despite it all; it pretties much went with anger and bitterness. Which on itself was my surviving mode and gets me through in my own way.
I acknowledge that anger and negativity as such is not healthy for your body. But I do support having a good dose of it to go through life.
Enough to don’t let negativity dominate; so sufficient to taunt the X out of some people by coughing and yelling like a crazy woman when their smoky cigarettes-toxic reach my precious lungs.
My own life-word conclusion
Whatever you experience in life; try to turn it in to something positive. Disregarded the fact that that is not quite easy as it sounds and sometimes goes hand in hand with pushing two eyescreams ice creams in somebodies eyes.
