Beating up your friends house
When you have, together with other people involved, to process some really ugly stuff and this happens twice in one month: it really can feel like someone beat up your house, but then in your mind.
When someone managed to misuse and mislead a certain situation to cause chaos without the persons in question initially knowing this. They themselves run off and let those people sort it out for them selves and deal with the damage they’ve done. Which subsequently causes a lot of uncertainty and stress to the particular situation.
It’s like one of your friends would take care of your house when you go to the Bahama’s for vacation. And because the friend is slightly jealous in character and has no control over her/himself, what in itself needs some supervising (read: psychological treatment); they beat up the whole house. No approval here, but just for illustration. Then they run away as far as they can (maybe also Bahama’s if they can afford it; but they can’t because they were jealous remember) and be surprised when you get home being told by your friend (well you’re not their friend that maybe obvious, but they don’t know) that this mess must have occurred on the night before by your own cats or something (because plants aren’t able to do that), because that’s the most strategic explanation. And now we ban them for life. Well we should.
