I love Witlof campagne van witloftelers is successtory
Uit liefde voor witlof is een aantal Nederlandse witloftelers een campagne gestart om jonge vrouwen te enthousiasmeren vaker met witlof te koken. De succesvolle I love Witlof Facebook campagne heeft geresulteerd in het allereerste Social Media Kookboek van Nederland, bomvol heerlijke witlofrecepten. De recepten in het boek zijn geüpload, gedeeld en geliked door enthousiaste witloffans van de ‘I love Witlof’ Facebook pagina. Het eerste exemplaar van het kookboek wordt op 16 november a.s. overhandigd aan de grootste witloffan Wina van Dijk. Zij heeft met een aantal van haar witlofrecepten een belangrijke bijdrage aan het kookboek geleverd.
De jury
Voor de samenstelling van het boek heeft een deskundige jury, te weten chef-kok Arne Ramak en culinair redactrice en styliste Carin Leenders-De Vries, een selectie gemaakt uit de vele geüploade recepten. De jury heeft met name gekeken naar smaak, eenvoud en originaliteit van de ingestuurde recepten. Ook leveren de witloftelers in het boek een bijdrage met interessante informatie en handige weetjes over de teelt en over de veelzijdigheid van het product zelf.
Witlof op Facebook blijkt successtory
In korte tijd na de lancering van de campagne, telde de I love Witlof Facebook pagina maar liefst 5.300 witloffans. Fans die hun favoriete witlofrecept op de pagina hebben gedeeld, werden beloond met een speciale ‘vind ik lekker’ facebook-ovenhandschoen of een ‘I love Witlof’ kookschort. Dagelijks werden vele wist-je-datjes, leuke filmpjes en culinaire informatie over witlof gepost. Dit alles resulteerde in het allereerste Social Media Kookboek in Nederland.
