Something with poses and scratch-proof for savvy shoppers
I came across this thing this morning. A colored brick.
Yes.
I like the purple one.
But the orange-like one, suits my website more.
It seems to be a yoga-brick-thing. A yoga block in seven colors. That looks more creative than we have in our streets here where I live.
Do you know what I keep asking my self all morning? What on earth is it for?
I could have Googled the whole thing, but I have not. I want the answer come to me without doing a week research on the thing.
Now obviously I am not a yoga fanatic. I can’t: my brain works too fast and there is no way in the world you can ever hush the thing. Ever. Unless I go ‘upstairs’, but still I promise you it will keep on working like crazy.
So what is it? Did I miss something?
Can we eat it? Probably not healthy with the paint and stuff. Or do we throw it through the neighbors window? When they are annoying.
Well that actually happened one time in my youth, so don’t give me that look. Not by my family though or through our window, but at a friends house.
Maybe more about this in my new book. You never know.
Do we buy a bunch and staple it up? No idea why, but it sounds like a cool thing to do.
Or do we weight lift with it?
Well now it’s driving me crazy. So. Google.
“The purpose of the block is to provide you with more comfort and confidence while practicing new and difficult yoga positions.”
Well I’m not planning on doing yoga, let alone “difficult positions”. I’m not planning that either in no way.
“Yoga blocks can be placed under your hands, feet, or bottom to get the most out of stretches and to keep your body safe during poses. These blocks are also excellent for any standing poses you might learn during your yoga career.“
That under your bottom suggestion; I’m not sure about that; although my back needs a bit of correction exercises, but I can do that with a couple of water trays also.
But then: “during your yoga career”. Like: no no no no no. I don’t want a yoga career. Can I just have the flashy block bricks for making a pass through for our hedgehog? I think he would like the colors very much. And maybe he likes yoga as well.
Conclusion:
I think these blocky things are awesome for yoga fanatics and do-it-yourself-yoga-persons. If I were you: I’d buy one. Or two. Or three. If you buy bulk: you get special bulk prices. Isn’t that amazing.
