Bij een controle door de Douane en de Belastingdienst bij Kotten (in de buurt
\nvan Winterswijk) is 10 april een veehouder aangehouden die met zijn auto een niet-toegestaan diergeneesmiddel mee Nederland in wilde brengen.<\/p>\n

Tijdens de controle troffen de controleurs injectiespuiten en poeder in de auto aan. Zij schakelden vervolgens de Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit (NVWA) in. Die vond in de auto antibiotica die niet in Nederland, maar wel in Duitsland zijn geregistreerd. Zij mogen dus niet in Nederland worden gebruikt. Het ging hierbij om 20 kg antibiotica in poedervorm en om 2 liter entvloeistof. Na overleg met de officier van justitie van het Functioneel Parket is de
\nveehouder aangehouden. Na verder verhoor is hij op woensdag in vrijheid
