\"\"<\/a>Wetenschappers hebben geconcludeerd, na jarenlange discussies over wat de beste remedie is tegen een kater, dat niet het opeten van een gefrituurde haar van een hond, maar een veel eenvoudigere oplossing, namelijk innemen van een aspirine en het drinken van koffie de ultieme hoofdpijnverlichting blijkt.<\/p>\n

Ondanks moderne alternatieven zoals de biologische honing en een rauw ei, lijken de oude manieren nog steeds de beste, volgens nieuw medisch onderzoek. De cafe\u00efne in koffie en de anti-inflammatoire ingredi\u00ebnten van aspirine en andere pijnstillers reageren positief en probleemoplossend op de chemische verbindingen van ethanol of zuivere alcohol.<\/p>\n

Ethanol zorgt voor hoofdpijn dankzij een chemische acetaat, wat zelfs bij lage doses pijn kan veroorzaken. Elk mens reageert anders op die verbindingen, volgens de onderzoekers. Michael Oshinsky van de Thomas Jefferson University te Philadelphia forceerde hoofdpijn bij ratten met behulp van kleine hoeveelheden ethanol.
\nHij gaf hen vervolgens doses van cafe\u00efne en anti-inflammatories, wat de reactie blokkeerde en de hoofdpijn verlichtte.<\/p>\n

Een doorbraak voor doordrinkers, echter, een vrijkaart om het maar op een drinken te zetten is dit natuurlijk niet. De lever is door de grote hoeveelheid alcohol reeds uitgerekt en zwaar belast, dan nog een dehydraterende stof als cafe\u00efne en daarbij belasting door aspirine maakt dat de lever overbelast kan raken. Een flinke hoeveelheid water drinken als ontgifting is wellicht de eenvoudigste, maar een even doeltreffende remedie. Maar de mens blijft op zoek naar snelle oplossingen voor veelal door zichzelf te voorkomen kwaaltjes.
\nEn zo hebben de wetenschappers het maar druk de hele dag met zwaar nadenken over dit soort ‘problemen’, tot ze er hoofdpijn van krijgen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
