In 1989, before internet existed and before every toddler had a startup mindset and a podcast, Jaco and I somehow decided it would be a perfectly reasonable life choice to import Italian espresso coffee into the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make it even more disturbing or in other words: to rub this in real good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No help of internet, social media, online courses, motivational podcasts, AI, no options to watch a 14-year-old millionaire explain branding from inside a neon Lamborghini, aggressive business gurus, no ability to Google things like \u201chow to import coffee without accidentally destroying your nervous system.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or even the possibility to ask something called ChatGPT whether we should maybe be better off importing impressive amounts of Egyptian dried cat poo to roast a new concept of adult coping fluid.
